I worked for less than a year for a bridal shop "Kristal's" in Streator, Illinois. I created flowergirls
dresses from a dress in the shop. I also was called to make bridesmaid dresses for those who couldn't get the right size dress,
by ordering.
In 1991, I went to work for Elegant Bride in Minonk, Illinois. I started in the prom dress department, then was
promoted to the Bridal department. I also designed and cut the dresses on the side, to help the cutter. This was excusively
a customized dress store; everything was cut and sewn there. We sewed dresses from all over the United States. California
was one of the states we did a bridal gown for.
I also did whole bridal parties on my own. Pictured here on this site is my wedding gown, veil and bouquet I
made. I have done many prom dresses as well.
